DIG'S IN THE VALLEY
Dig’s in the Valley is a newly renovated 2 storey family home located in the dingo safe fenced beach side village called Happy Valley on Fraser Island.
This location is an easy 60m walk to the beach via a boardwalk. In the Valley there is a shop with dining and bar facilities along with petrol/diesel and limited essentials.
THE HISTORY OF DIG’S
The Thomas family, of 5 children, 14 grandchildren and the ever increasing number of great grandchildren have been visiting Fraser Island for nearly 50 years. In 1976, after camping for a number of years Digger and Emily Thomas purchased a small fisherman’s shack from Lee Markwell.
Over the years, the house has been extended and renovated to provide a great holiday destination for their extended family.

Recently renovated spacious house in Happy Valley. Ideal for 2 families to share. Great modern bathroom/toilet facilities and especially loved the heated outdoor shower. Well equipped with cutlery, crockery, Tupperware and cooking facilities, ample refrigeration / freezer space and plenty of outdoor sitting/dining spaces. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. – Adam
